His impressive track record includes serving as the President of the Islamic Religious Council (MUIS), CEO of the Council for the Development of the Malay/Muslim Community, and Chairman of the Malay Heritage Foundation. Furthermore, he has held positions such as Executive Secretary of the Singapore Port Workers’ Union, Member of the Board of Directors of the Port of Singapore Authority, and member of the National University of Singapore Council, the Nanyang Technological University Board of Trustees and the Council for Security Co-operation in the Asia Pacific.
Notably, from 2006 to 2011, Mr. Zainul served as a Senior Minister of State for Foreign Affairs. Currently, he serves as a Non-Resident Ambassador to Kuwait and a Special Envoy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the Middle East.
